Bacteriostatic Water 2ml

Bacteriostatic water is sterile, non-pyrogenic water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative to inhibit the growth of bacteria. It’s primarily used as a diluent for reconstituting or dissolving medications—such as peptides or hormones—prior to injection. Unlike sterile water for injection (SWFI), bacteriostatic water can be used multiple times over a 28-day period due to its antimicrobial properties after opening. Note that it will remain stable for up to 2 years if unopened. It should be stored in a clean, temperature controlled environment and used with proper aseptic technique to maintain sterility (2–8 °C / 36–46 °F).
